50 fixed charge notices were issued to people in Kerry for e-scooter offences over a 2 year period.
The figures cover from May 2024 up until the end of April this year; nationally, over 1,600 (1,694) fixed charge notices were issued during that period.
The highest number of fixed charge notices were issued in the Dublin South Central Garda Division at 306, while the lowest was 13 notices in the Meath/Westmeath Garda
division.
The figures were provided by Justice Minister Jim O’Callaghan in response to a query from Sinn Féin TD Mark Ward.
