There was a 5% decrease in the number of people before the courts in Kerry on drug driving charges compared to last year.

The figures cover from January to October this year and were recorded by the Tralee District Court Office, which is responsible for all district court sittings in Kerry; they were presented to Ireland South MEP Cynthia Ní Mhurchú

During the first ten months of this year, 57 people were before the courts in Kerry on drug driving charges; that’s down from 60 for the same period last year.
