Over 380 babies were born in Kerry in the first three months of the year.
That's according to the Central Statistics Office.
Between January and March, 381 babies were born in Kerry; 208 boys and 173 girls.

223 babies were born to married parents or those in a civil partnership and 158 to unmarried parents.
The average age for mothers in the county was 33.8 years and 32.6 years for first-time mothers.
38 women were aged over 40 when they gave birth.

During the period, 302 deaths were recorded in Kerry; 151 men and 151 women.
The most common cause of death was cancer.
There were 12 dementia deaths and nine Alzheimer's deaths in Kerry in the three months.
