38 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry

There are 38 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.

25 people are on trolleys in UHK’s emergency department, while a further 13 patients are waiting on trolleys in wards elsewhere within the hospital.

Nationally, 565 people are waiting for beds in hospitals across the country today.
