Kerry has seen a 34 percent rise in crimes committed by people already on bail for other offences, according to figures in today's Irish Examiner.
The report shows an overall increase nationally of 20 percent in the last two years, in crimes committed by people out on bail.
In Kerry, the figure rose over that two-year period, from 565 to 755 crimes.
The report also shows that all Irish prisons are currently overcrowded, with Cork Prison now 132 percent over capacity.
