34 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry

There are 34 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.

24 people are on trolleys in UHK’s emergency department, while a further 10 patients are waiting on trolleys in wards elsewhere within the hospital.

Nationally, 769 people are waiting for beds in hospitals across the country today.
