There are 32 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.
That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.
18 people are on trolleys in UHK’s Emergency Department, while a further 14 patients are waiting on trolleys in wards elsewhere within the hospital.
Nationally, 559 people are waiting for beds in hospitals across the country today.
University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 93 patients on trolleys.
