A new medical imaging centre is set to open in Tralee, creating 30 new jobs in the process.
Alliance Medical opened in Killarney last year, and provides services including MRI and CT scans, as well as Xrays and other tests including those for bone density.
Alliance Medical works closely with the HSE to manage MRI services and the new centre in Manor West Tralee will ensure that the people of North and West Kerry will have more access to imaging services.

The opening of the new Tralee centre will provide 30 news jobs to the town, including radiographers, administrative staff and technical support roles.
An application for planning permission is currently with Kerry County Council, with a decision expected by June 16th.
