A Kerry cancer survivor has organised a round Ireland virtual cycle to raise funds for a stand-alone chemotherapy unit at University Hospital Kerry.
Linda Woods, who lives in Tralee, and a team of 30 cyclists plan to cycle the length of the Irish coastline, which is over 6,200 kilometres, during the first week of May.
Due to COVID restrictions, they cannot complete the actual coastline as originally planned and, instead, each cyclist will cover a set distance in their own locality.
The team hopes to raise at least 1 euro for every kilometre cycled.
