29 patients waiting on trolleys in UHK

There are 29 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally today, there are 517 waiting on trolleys.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 60 people awaiting beds, while there are 52 without a bed in Cork University Hospital.
