28 patients waiting on trolleys in UHK

There are 28 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally today, there are 525 waiting on trolleys.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 77 people awaiting beds, while there are 66 without a bed in Cork University Hospital.
