27 patients waiting on trolleys in UHK

There are 27 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally today, there are 589 waiting on trolleys.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 84 people awaiting beds, while there are 60 people waiting for a bed at Cork University Hospital.
