There are 27 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally today, there are 533 people waiting on trolleys.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 134 people awaiting beds, followed by Cork University Hospital with 51.
