26 patients waiting on trolleys in UHK

There are 26 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally today, there are 470 waiting on trolleys.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 107 people awaiting beds, followed by 49 at Cork University Hospital.
