There are 25 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s emergency department.
That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses' and Midwives’ Organisation.
Nationally, there are 449 waiting for beds.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 70 people on trolleys.
