There was a 25% rise in possession of drugs for sale/supply arrests in Kerry last year.
That’s according to the CSO’s latest crime data report.
It shows 90 offences were recorded during 2025, up from 72 in the county in 2024.
The figures show possession of drugs for personal use offences rose by over 7% over the period, with 335 recorded (up from 313).
434 controlled drug offences were recorded in Kerry last year, an 8.5% increase, while drug manufacturing crimes jumped by 66%.
There was one importation of drugs offence in Kerry in 2025, down from 2; “other” drug offences saw a drop from 10 to 3 in the year.
