25 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry

There are 25 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.

19 people are on trolleys in UHK’s emergency department, while six patients are waiting on trolleys in wards elsewhere within the hospital.

Nationally, 466 people are waiting for beds in hospitals across the country.
