25 patients waiting on trolleys in UHK

There are 25 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally today, there are 704 people waiting on trolleys.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 105 people awaiting beds, while there are 68 without a bed in Cork University Hospital.
