24 people have been admitted to University Hospital Kerry this morning without a bed to accommodate them.
20 of these inpatients are on trolleys in the emergency department, while a further four are on trolleys in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
Nationally, 559 people were waiting for a hospital bed this morning, with University Hospital Limerick (UHL) being the most overcrowded.
That's according to TrolleyWatch figures collated by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO).
