24 patients are waiting on trolleys in the Emergency Department of University Hospital Kerry.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation says this is the joint second highest total for today.
In Cork University Hospital there are also 24 patients awaiting admission.

Nationally, 189 patients are on trolleys today with the highest total of 35 recorded in University Hospital Limerick.
