23 patients waiting on trolleys in UHK

There are 23 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department today.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses’ and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally today, there are 594 people waiting on trolleys.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 106 people waiting for a bed, while there are 55 without a bed in University College Hospital Galway.
