23 admitted patients were waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry this morning.
That’s according to the daily trolley watch data from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
The figures show 16 patients were waiting on trolleys in UHK’s Emergency Department, while a further seven were waiting on trolleys in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
Across the country, 419 admitted patients were waiting for beds on trolleys in hospitals this morning.
The most overcrowded hospital in the country is still University Hospital Limerick, with over 100 waiting on trolleys today.
