22 patients were waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.

The same number of patients were awaiting admission yesterday, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally, almost 250 patients were on trolleys today with the highest number in University Hospital Limerick at 55.
