22 patients are on trolleys in the Emergency Department of University Hospital Kerry today.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation says almost 400 people are waiting for bed in hospitals around the country today.
The most overcrowded facility is Cork University Hospital where nearly 50 people are on trolleys.
