21 patients waiting on trolleys in UHK

There are 21 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry today.

That’s according to figures provided by the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally today, there are 489 people waiting on trolleys; 261 are in emergency departments, while 128 are in wards.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst affected with 94 patients awaiting beds.
