There are 20 patients waiting on trolleys in University Hospital Kerry’s Emergency Department today.

That’s according to data from the Irish Nurses and Midwives’ Organisation.

Nationally there are 191 people waiting for a bed in hospital today.

University Hospital Limerick is the worst hit today; 49 patients waiting on trolleys there.
