There's been a 15% decrease in the number of building commencement notices received in Kerry so far this year.
As a condition of planning permission, the local authority is notified when construction is due to begin on residential developments.
The number of commencement notices received is one marker of the level of construction activity in an area.

Kerry County Council says 105 commencement or seven-day notices were received to the end of March.
This is down 15% on the same period in 2020.
