14th annual Kerry County Clean Up begins today

Thousands of locals are expected to take part in the 14th annual Kerry County Clean Up this weekend.

The event, sponsored by KWD Recycling, encourages people to pick up litter in their estates, towns and villages.

Over 650 tonnes of waste have been collected and disposed of since the County Clean Up began in 2012.

Kerry GAA football star, Colm ‘The Gooch’ Cooper is the County Clean Up Ambassador again this year.
