There’s an appeal to find the nephew or any other relative of the Tralee tailor, John O'Connor, who in the 1950s came up with the idea to build a grotto at the foot of Mount Brandon.
On May 16th, they have a mass to mark the 60th anniversary of the grotto. Ann Fitzgerald is with Cloghane Brandon Tidy Towns, and she spoke to Treasa Murphy.
