It emerged last week that RTÉ had advertised for a photographer to take pictures on the set of the soap opera Fair City and had offered a maximum of €60,000 a year over four years. The national broadcaster has now suspended this tender process. The package on offer prompted criticism from politicians who pointed out that RTÉ is asking the government for a multi-million euro support package. Jerry spoke to Tralee photographer Domnick Walsh who outlines why he believes some of the criticism has been unfair.
