Yesterday the trial of a man accused of dangerous driving causing the death of broadcaster Paudie Palmer collapsed in Cork. The judge ruled a mistrial after it emerged a juror had visited the site of the tragedy and had made conclusions based on that visit. John Galvin is secretary of Kerry Law Society.
