A Kerry woman has been appointed CEO of Galway’s Druid theatre.
Maureen Kennelly is the former Director of the Arts Council, and has worked in arts leadership for nearly 30 years.
Druid Theatre announced the news on social media, saying they are ‘delighted’ to welcome Ms Kennelly.

Her appointment takes place today; her new role coincides with Druid theatre’s 50th anniversary this year.
