Kerry TD and Education Minister confirms extra funding for special education classes

The Education Minister says schools that open new special education classes will receive extra funding from the Government.

A Bill that'll allow the Department of Education to direct a school to open a special class within 8 weeks has been passed in the Dail.

There are more than 100 children with special educational needs without a school place for this coming September.
