Students from UCC voted to ban the promotion of horse-racing events because they deem the sport to be cruel to animals and because of its strong links to gambling. Art O’Mahony, who’s from Castleisland and is a member of Young Fine Gael, disagrees with this decision and speaks to Jerry.
