It was announced yesterday that this year’s Rose of Tralee International Festival will not feature a Rose Ball nor will there be street events organised by the festival body itself. Jerry spoke to CEO of the Rose of Tralee International Festival, Anthony O’Gara. Later, Kerry County Council issued a statement. It said Tralee Municipal District is fully supportive of the continuation of the street events in the Town Centre and will be working over the coming weeks with the local business community and organisations to ensure that the festival will continue to provide the family events and activities that it is renowned for.
