The Future Mobility Campus Ireland in Shannon is funded by Enterprise Ireland and is facilitating companies that are developing electronic aircraft. CEO of Future Mobility Campus Ireland, Russell Vickers believes we could see these electric helicopters in time for the Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in 2027, which would see commercial companies operating flying taxis from Shannon Airport to Adare Manor. He also believes this mode of transport could catch on all over Ireland, and not just with the rich and famous.
