This documentary was inspired by the discovery of an old flag in Tarbert. Mary Lavery Carrig, who has produced the programme, retells the story of the Tarbert branch of the Land League in the latter part of the 1800's in North Kerry and the events that unfolded. This is a Coimisuin na Mean sponsored project. It is an entertaining, informative and well researched documentary, recreating a period long gone but well worth remembering. Matt Griffin has composed the music and Cian McGrath is the programme editor. Narration, interviewees and voice actors bring the story vividly to life.
