Louise Galvin delighted to don the Green and Gold as the former rugby player returns to the inter-county setup

Kerry beat Meath 3-10 to 1-10 in the Lidl Ladies National Football League yesterday.

A well-tuned in listener might have noticed a well-known name return to a Kerry team sheet when the starting 15 was announced on Radio Kerry last Friday.

That player, of course, was Louise Galvin, who’s back playing with the Kerry senior ladies side, following her hugely successful career in rugby sevens and basketball.

The Finuge/St Senan’s footballer joined us on Terrace Talk
