Killarney Athlete off to a winning start as her High Jump season gets underway

Killarney Valley Athletics’ Club have produced some top stars in the past with one world medallist along with countless National medals coming back to the club formally known as Spa Muckross.

But the club is now in a fantastic position going into the future, especially with the opening of the Killarney Valley AC Arena last year.

Having a home facility in the heart of the town will give even greater access for athletes to excel at the top level.

Current Paralympic hopeful Jordan Lee is training in the facility as he continues his push for Tokyo and also in High Jump training is Fossa woman Ciara Kennelly, who only last year landed the National Junior Women High jump title.
