World Rugby chief executive Alan Gilpin has rejected Joe Schmidt's claim in relation to a clearout call in the second Lions test match against Australia.
The Wallabies head coach believed a clearout by Lions flanker Jac Morgan contravened rugby's law 9-point-two-zero.
Schmidt said it was a call that "didn't live up to" World Rugby's focus on player welfare.
Gilpin told the Rugby Union Weekly podcast he disagreed and that the governing body is "investing heavily" in player welfare.
