Wolves relegated

Wolves' relegation from the Premier League was confirmed last night.

West Ham's scoreless draw at Crystal Palace means that Rob Edwards' side are now 16 points from safety with five games to go, condemning them to the Championship for next season.

Meanwhile, the Hammers are a point better off in 17th, two points of clear of Tottenham and the drop zone.

Elsewhere, Chelsea will look to put an end to their losing run in the league tonight away to Brighton..

Their 7-0 FA Cup hammering of Port Vale is their only win in seven games across all competitions.

They've also failed to score in any of those four league defeats.

Former Premier League champions Leicester know even a win against Hull tonight might not be enough to avoid relegation to League One.

They can still go down from the Championship if results elsewhere in the next few days go against them.

Of the other sides hoping to beat the drop, Oxford host Wrexham, and West Brom take on Watford.

Having already secured promotion back to the top-flight, Coventry will take the title with victory over Portsmouth.

Millwall and Southampton have hopes of climbing into the second automatic spot in their respective games with Stoke and Bristol City.

Derby can keep their outside chances of the play-offs alive by winning at Norwich and QPR host Swansea at Loftus Road.
