Four races into the Aintree Festival and it's been four winners for Willie Mullins, as the Irish trainer continues his phenomenal form on English soil.
The day also brought concern for Rachael Blackmore, who took a heavy fall aboard “Willy De Houelle.” Thankfully, the Tipperary jockey walked to the ambulance unaided to be assessed and is reported to be unhurt.
Tragically, her mount did not survive the fall—becoming the first horse to be killed at this year’s Aintree Festival.
