Wiffen through to final at World Aquatics Championships

Daniel Wiffen is through to the final of the men's 800-metres freestyle at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore.

The Olympic champion qualified with the eighth fastest time in the heats, in seven minutes 46-point-36 seconds.

In the men's 200-metre butterfly, Jack Cassin failed to advance after posting a time of one minute 57-point-zero-eight seconds in his heat.
