Wexford's Derek Kent is set to contest the GAA's Presidential election next year.
The current Leinster Council chairperson was nominated to go forward by the Wexford County Board last night.
Tipperary's Ger Ryan is already in the race to succeed Jarlath Burns in early 2027.
