Wales forward Taine Plumtree's expected to miss the start of next year's Six Nations because of a shoulder injury.
The Scarlets flanker's facing surgery on the problem picked up playing for his club in the United Rugby Championship earlier this month.
He's likely to be out for some time - although no exact return date has been set - with his country beginning the tournament against Scotland on February the 3rd.
