Ireland flanker Aoife Wafer is close to making her comeback from knee surgery but is unlikely to feature in Sunday’s Rugby World Cup pool match with Spain.
The Six Nations player of the championship has linked up with the squad and took limited part in training this week.
Forwards coach Alex Codling says she’s “very close” to being available.
