Kerry played against the wind in the first half and had a double score advantage at the break, 2-6 to 6 points. Kerry goals coming from Siofra O'Shea and Mary O'Connell.

The second half continued in the same vain, with Kerry outscoring the visitors once more with the wind at their backs.
