Cavan's Leona Maguire won her singles match at the Solheim Cup yesterday - but Europe were unable to get the better of the United States.
The hosts collected the cup after a 15-and-a-half to 12-and-a-half victory in Virginia.
Maguire overcame the challenge of Ally Ewing four-and-three.
