Ulster title for Donegal; Leinster final today

Donegal defended their Ulster football title but needed extra time to do it.

Oisin Conaty brought Armagh level on 70 minutes to leave the game level 23 to 1-20 in Clones.

Niall O'Donnell's last gasp point was enough to win it for Jim McGuinness's men who came out on top after 90 mins by 2-23 to 28 points.

It means the All Ireland champions have lost the last 3 Ulster finals after extra time.

We're guaranteed a new Leinster Senior Football champion for the first time in 15 years this afternoon.

Meath and Louth clash in the provincial final and will renew their rivalry which kicked off in the 2010 Leinster final.

The Royals were successful on that day thanks to a controversial Joe Sherdian goal.

Louth are in their third Leinster final in a row and that game gets underway at Croke Park from 4:15pm.

Round one of the Tailteann Cup continues this afternoon.

First up, Sligo welcome Tipperary to Tubbercurry for a 1:30pm throw in.

Inaugural winners Westmeath kick off their campaign against Antrim at 2pm.

At the same time, Carlow make the trip to Fermanagh.
