Republic of Ireland striker Troy Parrott is eager to play against Portugal in this Saturday's World Cup qualifier.
The Dubliner trained with the squad today as he continues his comeback from a knee injury.
Parrott says the team must take responsibility for the disappointing 2-1 defeat in Armenia last month:
Roma striker Evan Ferguson sat out today with an ankle injury but the rest of the squad trained ahead of the Portugal clash and home qualifier against Armenia next week.
Republic of Ireland defender Matt Doherty has undergone successful surgery on his wrist.
The Dubliner fractured a bone in late August and will miss Ireland's upcoming games with Portugal and Armenia.
Wolves say it's difficult to put a timescale on his recovery, but they're hopeful that Doherty will 'return soon'.
